Waves to success

Each learner will have an agreed learner support plan that incorporates a waved approach to engagement and support of their SEN needs. Learners can start at any level of the Waves pyramid and with support and regular review we aim to reengage them into formal learning environments. 

Our SENCo

All SEN processes are overseen by Alec Dean our Director, qualified teacher and SENCo. He has over twenty five years experience in working with vulnerable learners with SEMH. ASC, ADHD and Trauma associated issues to improve their educational outcomes and support success. 

Pastoral Lead 

Our pastoral lead and Director, Paul Riley, has 12 year experience working with vulnerable learners both in mainstream and specialist settings. Paul also draws upon his experience of owning and running a successful alternative provision based in South Manchester. He also carries out the quality assurance of all education programmes, as a qualified IQA.
