We create supportive, engaging, and industry-informed learning environments where individuality is recognised, barriers are reduced, and success becomes achievable for all. Through personalised pathways, strong relationships, and high-quality vocational experiences, we help young people move forward with purpose and pride.

1. A Learner-Focused Approach to Learning
We understand that many of our learners have experienced disrupted education or struggled in mainstream settings. Through a strengths-based model, we shape our provision around individual interests, learning styles, and creative, hands-on approaches.
Every learner begins their journey at Strive with baseline and diagnostic assessments to ensure they are placed on the right course, one that supports measurable progress, meaningful achievement, and personal growth.

2. Working in Partnership
We believe progress is built through partnership. Each learner is supported by a key worker and clear, personalised targets. Our small group settings and phased re-engagement model are designed to help learners develop confidence, communication, and the ability to work positively with others.
We work collaboratively with families, schools, local authorities, and other stakeholders to provide value-for-money, high-impact placements that lead to long-term outcomes.

3. Leaving with the Skills for a Positive Future
Strive Academy is not the end of the journey, it’s a launchpad. Every programme is built with a focus on next steps: whether that’s further education, an apprenticeship, or another meaningful post-16 route, including our own.
Our learners receive tailored careers guidance, employability support, and where appropriate, access to the Gatsby Benchmarks. Our goal is clear: no learner leaves Strive without a plan, a pathway, and the skills to succeed.
